As surprising as it may seem, the new Paris-Deauville fragrance does not smell like typical Normandy fragrances. Olivier Polge, the official perfumer of Chanel, decided to build this fragrance on two main ingredients while adding more Mediterranean spirit. It was about highlighting the solar and magnetic aura of Gabrielle Chanel. Paris-Deauville emerges as a duet of basil and orange Sicilian. The result is a wildly aromatic and refreshing perfume.
