In 2017, Rose went on with a new chapter, a new interpretation of Sir Paul Smith’s sensibility. On the pack, the focus is on large rose petals and their delicacy, which contrasts deliciously with a silver logo. It brings dynamism and modernity to the line. Paul Smith Rose Limited Edition 2017 perfume

No blooms are harvested, crushed and distilled – instead, the living flower is isolated in a glass bell and equipment ‘inhales’ the scent. The 2017 Summer edition of Paul Smith Rose is a romantic fruity, floral fragrance with a hint of spice. The fragrance opens with crisp top notes of lemon and apple fused with pink pepper. Ultra-feminine Rose notes give way to a warm, sensual base of cedarwood, amber and white musk. The result is a thoroughly modern rose fragrance versatile and utterly irresistible. A rose by any other name might be something you expect. Rose by Paul Smith is something altogether different. Fresh and individual, modern and memorable.

Top notes: Lemon, Pink Pepper, Apple

Heart notes: Paul Smith Rose, Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Magnolia, Violet

Base notes: Cedarwood, Amber, White Musk

The Rose at the heart of this fragrance bears Paul Smith’s name. It was cultivated and given as a gift from Paul’s wife for his birthday. This proved to be an inspiration for a fragrance. The Paul Smith Rose is a potently fragrant, cochineal pink bloom with a tight peony and full outer centre. It was first presented in 2006 at the Chelsea Flower Show.
